Daphne E. Jones is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in general management & in implementing digital technologies strategically, entrepreneurially, and globally within multi-national corporations. She has over thirty years of business experience, serving in executive level roles at IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Hospira (now Pfizer) and General Electric. During her tenure at GE, served as SVP & CIO for a $13B segment of GE Healthcare businesses: Product Engineering, Imaging, and Ultrasound, and Global Services, and later served as SVP for Future of Work .

Prior to GE Healthcare, early career days were spent at IBM and Johnson & Johnson as an IT Executive & VP followed by her role as a Corporate Officer, SVP & CIO at Hospira, Inc. a $5B global pharma and infusion technology company. At Hospira, she was accountable for all aspects of Hospira’s enterprise, cyber, digital & analytics technology. A driver of change acceleration and leadership development, her career has been spent using digital technologies to transform business models, distribution channels and products. Her latter career days were spent helping shape and implement the business transformation strategy to help companies win in digital with focus on customer centricity & employee productivity.

Daphne serves on the board of directors for AMN Healthcare, Inc., Barnes Group Inc, and Masonite International Corp, & serves on the Audit, Nominating/Governance & Compensation committees. She been named by Savoy Magazine as a 2021 Most Influential Black Corporate Director, was the recipient of the University of West Indies’ Luminary Award, named one of Illinois’ Most Powerful and Influential Women by the National Diversity Council, and was Computerworld Premier 100 CIO. She is a member of NACD, Accenture Cybersecurity Council, The Digital Directors Network, and Executive Leadership Council.

Daphne’s contemporary experience and thought-leadership helps drive innovation globally; enabling business transformation across major industries. Daphne’s 1st book for corporate leaders will be published by McGraw Hill in mid 2022. Her journey & learnings of how to go from being undervalued to serving in executive leadership has made her a sought after speaker, executive coach & now, author.
